Card printers
Card printers are used to print data (by the use of a print ribbon) on a blank or pre-printed plastic card. Examples include the printing of card holder names, numbers, photos, logos and barcodes. All desktop printers can print full color as well as monochrome and are suitable for production volumes that can range from small to large. Printers are distinguished by their printing technique (e.g. direct-to-card or retransfer), one- or two-sided printing and other options such as lamination.
